This toy consists of three main elements which are stackable similar to the system how crates are stacked. The bottom of the three elements consists of a grid into which single parts of the system can be put and fixed. The lowest element makes up the bottom of the system and contains fillable cans to guarantee a stable condition/standing position. The technical part, consisting of a computer and a transformator, is fixed in the middle part. This unit supports the flatscreen in the upper element. It is situated under the translucent protective mat and has the function of a football pitch. Besides, the organizer has the possibility to communicate graphics, publicity and any other information via the screen.
To get the charakter of a stadium and the typical magical atmosphere of an arena the lighting comes over the acrylic stadium roof. Sponsors of an event have the possibility to modify the hardware. Like this, e.g. a sportcompany can organize their own events using the playing system as a marketing instrument. Optimal places for tablekicker events with „Arena“ are areas around stadiums, fairs and shopping malls.
„Arena“ was developed in teamwork with Martin Postler.
